We recommend securing your wedding date as early as possible, particularly during peak season. However, we’re always happy to accommodate last-minute enquiries where availability allows.

Simply get in touch via our enquiry form. Sally-Anne or Anna-Marie will arrange a consultation to discuss your wedding or event plans, musical preferences and availability, then guide you through the next steps.

Event Details & Logistics
-
We split our time between Auckland and Waiheke Island, and regularly provide musicians for weddings and events across New Zealand. Travel arrangements are handled professionally and discussed during the planning process.
-
Yes. We regularly collaborate with wedding planners, event planners, venues, musical directors, AV teams and production teams to ensure smooth coordination and professional delivery.
-
Our musicians arrive with their own instruments, music and stands. We ask you to provide a suitable performance area, a nearby secure space for instrument cases and belongings, and armless, flat chairs where needed.
-
Yes. Many weddings and events move guests through multiple spaces. We’re happy to accommodate this where logistics allow – just let us know in advance so we can plan timing and setup accordingly.
-
Outdoor performances are absolutely possible. However, our instruments are delicate and sensitive to weather conditions, so protection from direct sunlight, rain and wind is essential.
-
Our musicians wear elegant black attire chosen to suit the tone and style of your wedding or event. For themed, concert or brand-led occasions, we can also discuss attire that aligns with the overall vision.
Timing, Breaks & Overtime
-
For weddings, musicians arrive at least 20 minutes before the performance. For events, musicians arrive at least 30 minutes before the performance.
-
Breaks are kept as unobtrusive as possible. For bookings of three hours or more, a 30-minute meal break is required.
-
Water is always appreciated. For bookings of three hours or more, we kindly ask that a meal be provided for each musician.
-
We understand that weddings and events don’t always run exactly to schedule. Overtime may be available depending on musician availability and is charged at an agreed hourly rate.
Specialist Performances
-
Yes. Real Entertainment musicians have extensive experience performing alongside New Zealand and international artists, in orchestral settings, touring productions and live concert environments. We are accustomed to working with musical directors, production teams and touring schedules.
Rehearsals
-
In some cases, it may be possible to attend a rehearsal. Please note that rehearsals are part of the musicians’ professional preparation, and a fee will apply. If this is something you’re interested in, we’re happy to discuss the options.
