Classical Ensembles

- Real Strings Quartet

A traditional string quartet consisting of 2 violins, viola & cello. This ensemble covers a varied repertoire of Classics, Popular Classics, Jazz Standards, Ragtime, Irish, Gypsy and Latin.

Fee: $650 + GST for 2 hrs / $260 + GST p/hr thereafter.

- Waiheke String Quartet

Waiheke’s own string quartet. Every wedding season sees the Waiheke String Quartet performing for countless functions at Waiheke’s stunning venues.

Fee: $650 + GST for 2 hrs / $260 + GST p/hr thereafter.

- Real Strings Trio

Violin, Viola/Violin and cello. A traditional classical ensemble best at popular classics, but also playing rags, Irish, Jazz Standards and show tunes.

Fee: $580 + GST for 2 hrs / $225 + GST p/hr thereafter.

- Classical Duos

Violin & Cello, Violin Duo, Flute & Cello, Cello Duo.For smaller functions, where the key is classical from Baroque to Romantic Classics.
Fee: $430 + GST for 2 hrs / $150 + GST p/hr thereafter.

- Classical Solos

A little ‘something’ may be just what you are looking for.Violin Guitar Piano Saxophone Cello.
Fee: $330 + GST for 2 hrs / $100 + GST p/hr thereafter.

- Palm Court Orchestra

Straight out of the 20’s – a 12 and up to 16 piece orchestra. Repertoire includes waltzes, tango, quick step, foxtrot, cha-cha, rhumba, Charleston, polka, beguine, Maxine.
Fee: Dependent on occasion.

Classical Jazz Ensembles

- Classical Jazz Trio

Violin, Flute/Saxophone and Cello.This particular ensemble is extremely versatile and very popular at functions. Playing not only classical music, but also transforming to a Saxophone Trio to play Jazz Standards and more up-beat repertoire.
Fee: $600 + GST for 2 hrs / $240 + GST p/hr thereafter.

- Classical Jazz Duo

Violin or Flute/Saxophone and Cello.For smaller functions this ensemble provides a compact version of the above.
Fee: $450 + GST for 2 hrs / $160 + GST p/hr thereafter.
